Gabyly uses only the storage it genuinely needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking or social pixels to follow you around the web. This notice explains the few things we do store on your device and why.
Essential authentication cookie
When you log in, we set a secure, HttpOnly session cookie so that you stay signed in and your private thumbnails can load. Because it is HttpOnly, it cannot be read by JavaScript, which protects it against cross-site scripting attacks. It is strictly necessary for the service to function and is never used for advertising or profiling.
Local preferences
Your language choice, your cookie-consent decision, and similar preferences are stored in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. This information stays on your own device, is not sent to advertisers, and simply lets the app remember how you like to use it between visits.
No advertising or ad-tracking
We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels or social tracking tags. We do not build a profile of your browsing, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. The handful of analytics signals we may collect are aggregated and used only to keep the service reliable.
Your choices
Essential storage is always on because the app cannot work without it. Optional, functional storage (such as remembering your language across visits) only activates with your consent, which you give from the cookie banner. You can review or change your choice at any time, and you can also clear this storage from your browser settings.
Third-party services
Payments and transactional emails are handled by trusted third-party providers. When you interact with them directly, for example on a secure payment page, those providers may set their own cookies governed by their own policies. We choose providers that share our privacy-first approach.
